Inside the Phlat Ball there are two suckers and a stainless steel spring, when you press the top and bottom of the Phlat Ball together, the two suckers make contact, this transforms the ball to a disc. Once you throw the disc the spring inside the disc releases itself at some point when travelling through the air, to return it back to the shape of a ball. What makes the Phlat ball so exciting is that you’re never quite sure when the spring will release and turn from disc to ball! The spring mechanism is also pretty useful should you manage to throw the disc onto a roof, just wait for the spring to release, this turns it back into a ball, then it should roll off the roof!
